This home started off as a 932 square foot 50's built ranch. After removing the existing roof system and adding an extra 8 feet to the width of the home, we gave this home the 2nd story addition it deserved. Elegant hardwood floors, white shaker 42" tall cabinets, high end granite, Kohler fixtures and a true master bath.
Boulavard Church
Retro Fit Facade
The 90's renovation to Boulevard Church was showing some of it deficiencies. The wood crank out windows was rotting causing interior water damage. Over 50 new fiberglass crank out windows were installed. Cut away(s) in the EIFS system showed rusted studs and mold. JRC removed all interior drywall, metal studs and windows. Replacing the windows with a properly flashed system will insure the new look will last a life time. This was all done while pre-school was going on.

This traditional 2-story home features a large gourmet kitchen open to the great room and dining room. First floor laundry and mud room add to the conveniences of this plan. The second level offers the master suite and three other bedrooms, each with walk-in closets and baths. This home can be built on any site. I used John Romans Construction (JRC) to remodel my home. I had John Romans and my architect meet me at my home when I first was coming up with conceptual plans. JRC's salesman Keith had great ideas and vision to help mold the final plans. When I was speaking with the architect he said that he was impressed with their knowledge and vision as well; this is when I knew I was going to use them for remodel of my home. They removed all of the furnishings, trim and drywall down to the studs. JRC replaced the electrical system, furnace, water lines, insulation, drywall, trim, tile, cabinets, drywall and fixtures. Once the drywall was complete they worked around the clock to finish the work up in just 3 months.
The crews were all very professional, well dressed and polite. JRC found a ton of rotted wood which they quickly repaired without hesitation. The electricians, plumbers and furnace guys were independently licensed companies with whom John Romans Construction project manager schedule perfectly (I couldn't believe so many people were in my house at once).I love my granite counter tops, custom cabinetry, tile work and hard wood floors the most. These are all things I have always dreamed of and they made it all come true.
